Trewa Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile) 2004

Trewa Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile) 2004, Im impressed...

nose:Loads of black wild cherry, hints of licorice, hints of tea and earthiness

taste: Structure-not extremely concentrated, but fruit filled mouth-feel. Long finish, good mid, and decent front end.
Some fruit and other nuances were: Tea, juicy wild cherry, with the earthy tones kickin' in on finish.

  1. At G.O. try to get your hans on Archetype Cab-Shiraz 2006 @ 2.99 also try to get the Westerly Sauv Blanc. Both are great!

I have loaded up on 3 cases. This blows the socks off Trewa which I find pretty undrinkable from the nose to the finish.

  2. Jaton,
My local GO manager advised me that they will be getting a 2005 Altus Cab which should retial for 9.99. It's a $75 wine. I'll let you know how it is. Also try the Pampo be Baco Malbec at 4.99. It really is really true malbec and is worth every penny.
